Now Open: Woodward Medal & Marles Medal

The Woodward Medals and Marles Medals programs are now open for nominations – both closing Friday 7 July.

The Woodward Medal in Science and Technology and the Woodward Medal in Humanities and Social Sciences are awarded annually for research published in the preceding five years that has made a significant contribution to knowledge. Each medalist is awarded $10,000. Nominations close Friday 7 July.

Two Marles Medals are awarded annually for research that has made a significant impact, including benefit to the economy, society, culture, public policy or services, health and wellbeing, the environment or quality of life beyond academia. Each medal (either a single researcher or collaborating research team) is awarded with a $10,000 cash prize. Nominations close Friday 7 July.
