Awareness of neurodiversity in society is increasing, and many academics within our community identify as neurodivergent. Supervisors play a crucial role in shaping both the research projects and the professional growth of graduate researchers (GRs), making it essential to address the unique needs and requirements of neurodivergent GRs under their guidance. This session, co-hosted with academic convenors Dr Jessica Riordan, Dr Matthew Harrison, and Dr Sarah Timperley from the Neurodiversity Project (https://www.unimelb.edu.au/neurodiversity) offers valuable insights and practical strategies to help supervisors effectively support neurodivergent candidates.
