In celebration of the paperback release of his book, Going Along with Trans, Queer, and Non-Binary Youth, you are invited to join author Dr Sam Stiegler (University of Melbourne) in conversation with Professor Mary Lou Rasmussen (Australian National University) for a discussion about doing research with queer and trans youth and the intersections of gender and sexuality with the study of education. Special Event for Graduate and Early Career Researchers Reflection on Co-Productive Research

On Thursday 26 September, organised by the Melbourne Social Equity Institute, join Professor Katherine Runswick-Cole from the University of Sheffield for a lunchtime discussion about the opportunities and challenges of co-produced research and how research methods have evolved over time. She will discuss how all stakeholders, including experts by experience and researchers, can work together to conceptualise, design, deliver and disseminate research to better enhance understanding and knowledge.  This session will be moderated and hosted by Associate Professor Sue Olney from the School of Social and Political Sciences and a reflection will be offered by Panos Karanikolas, Research Officer from the Melbourne Social Equity Institute.

This is a hybrid event. For those that can attend in person, a light lunch will be available from 1.00pm with the presentation starting at 1:30pm. The session will be professionally live captioned.
