TRAM Track Semester 2 2024 Application Form

What type of researchers should consider Track?
- Research projects with high impact potential
- Research staff or students across any faculty at the University or Biomedical Research Institutes
- Preferably teams, however individuals may be considered
Dates: 4th September – 14th November, Wednesday mornings, 9:30am – 12:30pm
Where/Format: Face-to-face at TRAM Program Space, Level 2, MEC Building, Melbourne Connect
Time Commitment: 0.2 FTE, 3-hour weekly workshops + 30-minute 1:1 weekly coaching session with TRAM
Who: Research teams with a project with high impact potential
TRAM Track helps researchers to:
- Understand how their research can add value and who that value is for
- Apply their research to entrepreneurial frameworks
- Connect to University support networks
Communicate their findings and impact effectively, especially to those outside of their faculty.
Researchers do not need to be on the startup pathway to gain value from Track. The commercial path is just one of the pathways that Track supports; the program supports academics on all pathways to impact from influencing policy, gaining deeper understanding of their research value proposition, to strengthening grant opportunities and communicating their research for industry engagement / collaboration purposes.
