This includes Professor Emeritus Kaye Stacey being awarded the prestigeous 2024 Emma Castelnuovo Award for Excellence in the Practice of Mathematics Education by the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI), in honour of outstanding and influential achievements in the field of mathematics education. Dr Chris Summers was awarded the American Alliance for Theatre Education’s Distinguished Dissertation Award and a Dyason Fellowship

Dr Emily Wilson was awarded a Churchill Fellowship

Dr Hugh Gundlach was in the ABC Top 5 (Humanities) Media Residency

Associate Professor Wes Imms has been invited to membership of the Singapore Ministry of Education Science of Learning Expert Panel

Centre for Wellbeing Science

Drs Tan Chyuan Chin, Lara Mossman, Rachel Colla, and Professor Dianne Vella-Brodrick awarded $30,000 from Teck Ghee Primary School in Singapore to develop the “WISE (Wellbeing Insights for Sustainable Engagement) framework and tool development” as part of their Wellbeing Science Masterclass Series

Professor Dianne Vella-Brodrick was part of an interdisciplinary team awarded $400,000 from Teachers Health Foundation to explore “Teacher Climate Superpowers: Co-developing and testing climate change related resources and strategies to support teacher mental health and wellbeing”. (2024–2025)
