2024 International Network of Education Institutes (INEI) Summer School Applications Open for Current Graduate Researchers

FoE is part of the INEI network and this year a Summer School Program will be held by the Faculty of Education – Beijing Normal University from 1-7 July with the theme “Future-orientated Curriculum and Teaching”. This will be a combination of lectures, round-table discussions and on-site visits to explore the following three issues:

The future direction of curriculum reform of basic education in China

The influence of Chinese traditional culture on curriculum and teaching in primary and secondary schools

How can AI empower curriculum reform

To be eligible:

*Your recent progress report must be “Satisfactory”

*You must not be on leave status in your candidature

*You must have your supervisor(s) approval to apply

*If you are also a staff member and have teaching commitments you must have approval from your academic supervisor

Application process – please submit the following documents to bblaher@unimelb.edu.au by 15 May COB:

*CV- maximum 3 pages

*Personal statement – please introduce your study motivation, academic background, study/research plan and objectives for your future career – 1000 word limit

*Language proficiency proof – applicants from English speaking countries should submit a scanned copy of their passport

Members from the GR Subcommittee will assess the applications and check eligibility.
