Call for Applications: Manchester – Melbourne -Toronto Research Fund and Osaka-Melbourne Joint Research Workshops Fund

The University of Manchester, the University of Melbourne, and the University of Toronto are contributing matching funds to support collaborative bilateral and trilateral research initiatives through a join call for proposal . The Fund is open to applications form all research areas and up to 15 proposals will be selected for funding. Proposals demonstrating strong relevance to strategic priorities at the participating institutions and that aim to provide opportunities for collaborative doctoral training and mobility at a future stage are encouraged. Osaka University and the University of Melbourne are calling for joint research workshops proposals to support new collaborations. Up to two workshops will be funded in 2024, with one to be held at Osaka and one to be held at Melbourne. It is expected that these initial projects will lead to long term collaborations, institutional and research relationships and when applicable, generate publications, exhibitions and/or applications to external research funders.
