Announcing the MECCE Project’s Case Studies Call for Proposals (CFP)

The Monitoring and Evaluating Climate Communication and Education Project (MECCE) call for proposals portal is now open and will be accepting submissions until March 25th, 2024.

The funded case studies will connect with a global Climate change Communication and Education (CCE) network and contribute to better understandings of exemplary and innovative quality CCE. You may learn more about the completed and in-progress case studies on the website.

In this third round, the MECCE are aiming to fund at least 10 case studies research projects across sectors and in settings around the world with up to CAD $10,000 to conduct their research. While all case study proposals are welcome and will be thoroughly adjudicated, this year they are particularly interested in funding case studies from Latin America and Eastern Europe, and case studies of CCE initiatives focused on public participation and public access to information, as well as pre-primary education, primary education, higher education. The CFP is available in EnglishSpanish, and French on the MECCE Project website.

Please help distribute the CFP by sharing this email with your colleagues and networks, including listservs you think may be appropriate. There is also prepared a social media kit with content and images you may use.

Finally, they are also recruiting adjudicators to help the MECCE Project Regional Hubs adjudicate proposals from each region. Adjudicators assess up to 10-15 short applications using a provided rubric and participate in a regional adjudication meeting. These activities are expected to take place throughout April 2024.
