TRAMx Bootcamp Applications Open – Translating Research at Melbourne

If you’ve been thinking about how to have greater impact with your research, Translating Research at Melbourne (TRAM) is now accepting applications for TRAMx Bootcamp 2024!

TRAM is Australia’s premier university-based research impact accelerator. We’ll equip you with the skills and mindset needed to transform your research and inventions into products and services that have real-world impact.

TRAMx Bootcamps are one-day intensive workshops designed to empower researchers to begin their journey towards creating impact with their research. We recognise that research is not just about discoveries, it’s about making a difference in the world. TRAMx Bootcamps cater to researchers at all levels, staff, and academics (including research students!) who want to maximise the impact potential of their work. In the Bootcamp you will learn essential entrepreneurial frameworks that you can apply to your work, building your understanding of how your research can make a real difference. Bootcamp is open to both individual researchers and research teams. All researchers are welcomed with open arms, including PhD students, and staff from all faculties across the University of Melbourne and the Melbourne Biomedical Precinct.

Researchers will gain:

  • Practical entrepreneurial frameworks: Learn key entrepreneurial tools and frameworks that you can apply to your research.
  • Find your tribe: Connect with like-minded researchers and research impact supporters building a valuable network for collaboration and support.
  • Pitching skills: Hone your ability to communicate the significance of your research in an impactful and concise way.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Gain a new perspective for your research that will empower you to make long lasting impact.
