SA Department of Education Research Agenda Development: Researcher Input
The South Australian Department for Education is developing a new enterprise-level research agenda which will:
- Influence the development of research by signalling to external research and funding bodies our interests and needs.
- Provide strategic direction to support the department’s decisions when investing in and participating in research.
- Improve the value of the research commissioned and increase the likelihood of it being translated into practice.
To facilitate input from researchers, the SA Department of Education has developed a short 5-10 minute survey to identify and understand existing education related research priorities and gaps, as well as how our agenda can be as useful and impactful as possible.
This survey has been developed to be completed by individual researchers, meaning it can be based on individual experience and views, and can be accessed here. Submissions close COB 25 August.
The survey results will be considered as part of a wider consultation process.
