GR Opportunity to be part of the UNESCO ISEE Assessment Workshop March 2, 2023

The International Science and Evidence based Education (ISEE) Assessment was an initiative of the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), UNESCO’s first category 1 Institute of Education in the Asia Pacific region. The report brought together 300 transdisciplinary experts from 45 countries to provide a scientifically robust and evidence-based assessment of education systems to inform education policy making at all levels and scales.

This is an exciting opportunity for MGSE Doctoral GRs to join in with these international experts at Melbourne Connect. There is a potential that this could lead to an opportunity to publish with one of these teams. The preparation of two journal articles will commence:

1) Implications of ISEEA to Education Policy and

2) Development of multi-nation international education research.

MGSE is holding an Expression of Interest (EoI) which should include a maximum 250 word statement of (1) how your research is broadly related to the ISEE Assessment https://mgiep.unesco.org/iseea and (2) why this opportunity fits with your overall research plans and (3) list any previous publications.

EoIs are due Thursday 23 February 5pm to mgse-research@unimelb.edu.au.
