Workshop – Research Degree Opportunity Tool (12.00-12.45pm, 24 August, L514/5)
Join us for this hands-on introduction to the University’s new Research Degree Opportunities tool, which enables academics to easily advertise research degree opportunities via Find an Expert – the process is simple and takes only a few minutes once the text is ready to go.
This new FaE functionality enables academics to proactively seek interest from prospective graduate researchers, and better align the research training on offer with their programs of research and other graduate researchers.
We’ll have a quick “how to” walk-through of the platform, and then time to workshop some text to submit once it’s ready to post … so please bring along a brief draft (100-150 words, max) to share for some peer feedback! Some are already available via FaE if it helps to see examples:
- Digital Wellbeing: The use of smartphone apps in the promotion of wellbeing and prevention of mental ill-health. (unimelb.edu.au)
- Governing post-compulsory education space (unimelb.edu.au)
- Pedagogic risk, creativity, and content and language integrated learning (unimelb.edu.au)
We look forward to seeing you there.
