Spencer Foundation Research Grants on Education (Small)

The Spencer Foundation’s Research Grants on Education (Small) round opened for applicants on 2^nd February 2023 and closes for full applications on 5^th April 2023 at 12pm (CST US time).

For this specific scheme, the Spencer Foundation will fund projects for a 1-5 year period, of up to $USD50,000 in total.

The Spencer Foundation notes:

“This program is “field-initiated” in that proposal submissions are not in response to a specific request for a particular research topic, discipline, design, method, or location. Our goal for this program is to support rigorous, intellectually ambitious and technically sound research that is relevant to the most pressing questions and compelling opportunities in education.”

RIC is coordinating an EOI process. The key dates are:

Wednesday 22 March 2023: RIC internal deadline for review of application and compliance (10 days before submission deadline) – optional

Wednesday 29 March 2023: RIC Final submission Internal deadline (5 days before external deadline) – must engage RIC for final submission

Wednesday 5 April 2023 (12:00 noon Central Time): Full Proposal deadline
