Virtual Government Engagement and Influence Workshop on 16 March from 10:00am – 12:00pm

You are invited to participate in an upcoming virtual Government Engagement and Influence Workshop on 16 March from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Governments are increasingly turning to Australia’s researchers to develop policy solutions and provide advice to solve global challenges amid COVID-19, climate change and ongoing geopolitical developments. High levels of trust in scientists and academic institutions means there is an opportunity to engage with government to influence and contribute to policy through the provision of evidence-based advice.

Delivered by the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH), the Melbourne School of Government (MSOG) and Chancellery’s Policy and Government Relations (PGR) team, this workshop will provide an overview of the political environment and equip researchers with the knowledge and tools to engage with government and influence policy.

If you are interested in joining, please register your interest for the workshop here – Zoom details will be circulated closer to the date with a high-level agenda.
